Hi I'm Cat

Along with my Terrier's Elvis and Beattie we make up the team behind Terrier School. I've been a professional dog trainer since 2019.

I'm a former Soldier, Photographer and mother to an amazing young man. We live in the Scottish Borders where outside is always better than inside.

From the very first time I met a Terrier I knew that little spark in the eye was the one I wanted in my life. Little did I know where that would lead me....!

My Story (short version)

I've always had animals in my life, my working life started as a groom for competition horses and riding instructor. After a journey through other jobs, I spent a large chunk of my working life in the Army, completing two Operational Tours of Afghanistan and travelling the world.

Dogs came back in to my life as I combined them with my passion for photography and ran a successful dog photography studio until the double whirlwind of Covid and Elvis entered my life. There wasn't much choice other than to become a knowledgeable trainer at that point and so after years of working through all his training and behaviour issues, hours of study, mentoring and working with the countries best trainers, Terrier School is here!
